In addition to ArenaNet’s Birthday Celebration, they’ve officially announced their Video Contest for 2011. If you’re a devout Guild Wars fan and a film maker, now is the chance to combine the two in order to make a one minute video (in English) that promotes Guild Wars 2. Talk about why Guild Wars 2 will be the greatest MMORPG or talk about why your friends should get it. However you create it, make it creative. Two lucky grand-prize winners will be flown into Seattle to visit the Arena Net studio and play Guild Wars 2 with the development team. Other cool prizes will include custom Guild Wars 2 Antec P193 tower chassis, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 video card, and a couple of Art of Guild Wars 2 books. You must be 18 years or older, and the deadline is 11:59 p.m. PDT on Thursday, May 12, 2011. Complete rules and regulations are listed on the Guild Wars 2 site and the link above.

That’s right! The ARFMB is back for one last time in Guild Wars 1! Anticipated to be the largest Guild Wars event, save the date for May 21st, 2011. If you plan to attend or participate in their raffle, don’t forget to post your reservation on the Guru Official Thread!
