Welcome to the 8th GuildMag Community Roundup! A lack of official information saw last week turn rather quiet on the excitement front, though as always the the usual friendly discussion and light-hearted banter emerged from various corners of the community. Get ahead of the crowd and start discussing the upcoming skill update before it happens! This post on Guru from Stéphane Lo Presti of ArenaNet houses many pages brimming with discussion over this coming update which balances some of the changed dervish skills as well as some elementalist and necromancer skills too.

Hunter’s Insight

Artists of Guild Wars 2
An art themed blog post, this one presents to us some truly amazing concept art images for Guild Wars 2. Even if you’re not into art that much, you’ll want to check these out as they’re really interesting to look at and provide great insight into the artistic feel Guild Wars 2 is striving to achieve. Notable images include concept art of an asuran golem as well as a pair of sylvari draped in what appears to look like feathers.

Kill Ten Rats

[GW2] PAX Chats on Mechanics and Crafting
Ravious talks game mechanics with Jon Peters and Jonathan Sharp from an interview at PAX East. Questions include attributes, balancing skills, how monsters reset and a whole load more! If you’re still looking for some PAX East details, then this is the blog post to cap it all off!

Episode 40
Once again, Shawn and Rubi present and almost all-email episode of GuildCast! These episodes are great for hearing about a wide range of Guild Wars(2) topics and what fellow listeners think of both the site and the game. This is a fairly short podcast, so if you’re stuck for time then you should still be able to squeeeeze it into your day.

Relics of Orr:

Episode 35
Tasha again plays host to this episode of Relics, in which the guys discuss underwater weapons, the latest skill update preview and a lot more speculatitive topics! As always, it’s a great podcast from a great Guild Wars fansite.
